On the afternoon of 5 August 2026, a meeting was held at the Department of Water Resources Management under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, bringing together representatives from the Department of Water Resources Management, the Department of International Cooperation, the PSAV Secretariat, WWF-Viet Nam, and HEINEKEN Vietnam to discuss the establishment of the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) Task Force on Resource Restoration and Development under the Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture in Vietnam (PSAV).

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for public–private collaboration in protecting, restoring, and developing natural resources, while mobilizing support from the private sector and international organizations. Participants also exchanged views on the potential roles, coordination mechanisms, and priority activities of WWF-Viet Nam, HEINEKEN Vietnam, and other stakeholders. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continue working together on the roadmap for establishing and operating the PPP Task Force within the PSAV framework.
The establishment of the PPP Task Force on Resource Restoration and Development is expected to strengthen collaboration among government agencies, businesses, international organizations, and other stakeholders. The Task Force will serve as a platform to promote initiatives on natural resource restoration, conservation, and sustainable management while mobilizing resources to support sustainable agricultural development and climate resilience in Vietnam.
